Account & Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your Yaplay account and the data associated with it at any time.

How to request deletion

There are two ways to delete your account and data:

  • In the app: open Profile → Settings → Account → Delete account and follow the prompts.
  • By email: send a request to support@funxt.com from the email address linked to your account, or include your username so we can verify it's you.

Deleting some of your data without closing your account

You don't have to delete your whole account to remove your data. At any time, directly in the app, you can delete:

  • Individual posts and the photos or videos attached to them.
  • Stories you've shared.
  • Comments you've written.
  • Messages you've sent in chats.

Open the item you want to remove, tap the menu (•••), and choose Delete. Removing content this way deletes it from your account while keeping the account active. If you'd instead like all of your data removed, use the account deletion steps above.

What gets deleted

When your account deletion request is processed, we delete:

  • Your account profile and login credentials.
  • Your content — posts, stories, comments, and uploaded media.
  • Your messages and chat history.
  • Your activity and loyalty data, including Points balances and game progress.
  • Personal information associated with your account.

What may be retained

We may retain limited information where required for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, or security purposes, or in anonymized/aggregated form that can no longer identify you. Any such data is retained for no longer than 90 days after your request — unless a longer period is required by law — after which it is permanently deleted.

How long it takes

When you delete your account from within the app, the deletion is processed immediately and you are signed out — this action cannot be undone. For requests made by email, we aim to process verified requests within 30 days and may contact you to verify your identity first.

Note about Points

Deleting your account permanently removes any Points you have earned. Points have no monetary value and cannot be transferred or recovered. This cannot be undone.
